The Citymapmat rug collection is a self-initiated project inspired by the architecture of cityscapes in Johannesburg and Cape Town. The facades of the buildings and windows linked to different areas are translated into patterns, which are woven into hand-tufted 100% wool rugs to form graphic city maps.
