The Citymap Prints collection explores the relationship between architecture, urban environments, and abstraction. Developed as part of the creative process behind the Citymapmat Rug Collection, the series transforms building facades, street networks, and city infrastructure from Johannesburg and Cape Town into graphic compositions inspired by the patterns and rhythms of each city. Through a process of reduction and reinterpretation, familiar landscapes become abstract maps that celebrate place, movement, and identity.
